Based in San Diego, California, Dryya specializes in creating and mixing audio for games and animation. When not creating music or art, Dryya can be found dabbling in programming and game development.
They are deeply passionate about the arts. Dryya is currently studying at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, scoring music for media and mixing live/studio recordings. Dryya's compositions often experiment with different styles of music, resulting in a blend of unique sounds both whimsical and uncanny. Their "romantic"-esque music can be adapted to many genres ranging from horror to sci-fi. They are multifaceted. Alongside their interests in creating music, Dryya enjoys creating visual art and animation as another means of personal expression. Their work in illustration has piqued the interests of numerous clients - Youtubers and Vtubers alike. With music and visual art utilized in tandem, Dryya's love for storytelling can be conveyed through the emotive leitmotifs of characters to the subtlest of shifting expressions in their animations. They are entranced by philosophical ideals. Dryya takes inspiration from the idea of "escapism" in art, whether it be in auditory or visual form; they explore the illusions of the imagination, tackling the concepts of the mind from their perspective. When they create, Dryya takes details from reality and implements them into the surreal and fantastic worlds they create. Through their interest for the human experience, Dryya creates in hopes of conveying a relatable journey of the ups and downs in life. |
