Follow this jeweler's journey as their crow companion gives gifts to their crush!! BFA4 Film by Kyousuke Shimazaki
Sound Design, Music Editing, Mixing by Dryya. This is Kyousuke Shimazaki's thesis film at CalArts. Tensions arise between traveling performance duo Ovid and Virgil as Virgil, envious of Ovid's spotlight as solo violinist, resolves himself to extreme measures. Sound design in this film was crafted to create uneasiness in the viewer. Because one of the film's inspirations included Hannibal (2013), the soundscape of this film was crafted to evoke similar feelings of anxiety and tension. Full film can be viewed here! |

Sound Design, Music, and Mixing done by Dryya. This is Jingqi's thesis film at CalArts. A beautiful film with lots of meaning behind its creation, the score and sound design was specifically highlighting the quiet to desperate emotions of the characters; characterizing Caz, Sky, and Bear in a limited time frame and ensuring that their story can be told through musical cues and themes in the most fitting way possible.
